SUMMER SCARES
With summer now upon us, and people going off on their holidays, you might not expect to get any horror treats. We at the Fright Club don’t think that horror needs to be relegated to the darkened evenings of winter, there’s room in all four seasons for a few scares.
Holidays in the countryside are great fun, unless you happen to stay in a place that is supernaturally inclined. In Psychosis (on DVD 19th July), poor unfortunate Susan (Charisma Carpenter, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, The Expendables) moves into her new home in the English countryside not realising that this will be the start of her nightmares. From director Reg Traviss (Joy Division) and with a great supporting cast, including Ricci Harnett (28 Days Later, Rise of the Footsolider), Sean Chapman (Hellraiser), Paul Sculfor and Justin Hawkins, this is a nerve shredding British horror that you won’t want to miss.
